RESEARCH also gave my husband the chance to "give back" by participating in a trial. He didn't need to devise it, apply for grants, gather staffing, etc. Those roles went to others. His part was to participate. Everyone can play a part. RESEARCH means the last year’s leukemia diagnosis (for my husband) was met with the very best treatment available, thanks to researchers and clinical trial participants in the past.

I refused to give up and am finally pregnant and due later this year!!!! I don't think the alternative methods helped at all - they kept me busy, made me feel that I was doing everything I could, but it was my attitude of never giving up (and an IVF procedure) that finally got me pregnant!
